This is HumanLike Interaction and this is what Kallideas’ solutions are aiming for.

After our initial experience, we realized that the input-output multimodal systems weren’t sufficient to guarantee the quality of responses in increasingly complex contexts.

We decided to adopt a framework of artificial intelligence, which together with the focussing of knowledge on specific fields allows our systems to provide the right answers and to guarantee a satisfactory User Experience in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) context.

But the "right answers" are linked to the context and are more effective at keeping the interlocutor at his ease throughout the interaction the more they are given the right emphasis. The introduction of emotion is fundamental in providing quality. Understanding the emotional state of the user assists with the selection of the most suitable response in that context. Systems able to express emotions make dialogues more efficient and natural: a virtual assistant with a face uses interactive applications to its advantage providing immediate feedback and facilitates an emotional response from the user.
